Established since 1966 in Antibes, Jean Gismondi opened its Gallery of the rue Royale in Paris in 1982. Jean Gismondi enthusiastic about: • the pieces of furniture Louis XIV in marquetry " Boulle " and of flowers, • the large Italian baroque cabinets and inlaid hard stones slabs, • the masterpieces of the Parisian cabinetwork of the 18th century, • the Italian and French painting of 17th and 18th centuries with a predilection for the Venetian "Vedutistes".

Jean Gismondi is also: • Expert près les Douanes françaises, • Expert près le Tribunal de Commerce, • Member of the Syndicat National des Antiquaires (S.N.A.), • Member of the Chambre nationale des Experts spécialisés (C.N.E.S.), • Vice-President of the Biennale des Antiquaires de Paris, • President promoter of the Salon des Antiquaires d'Antibes.
