Founded over a half-century ago, the Gallery JM Béalu & Fils specializes in European and Oriental ceramics of the 16th at the 18th century, and particularly in majolica, and siliceous ceramics such as the first porcelains of Meissen or Sevres.
The Gallery also presents a selection of pieces of furniture and objets d'art of Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI periods.
In January 2006 Gallery JM Béalu & Fils joined the antique dealers and art galleries of the "Carré Rive Gauche" which include the principal specialist dealers in ceramics.
The Gallery is currently directed by Christian Béalu, Expert member of C.N.E.S. (Chambre Nationale des Experts Spécialisés) and member of C.E.D.E.A. (Confédération Européenne Des Experts d'Art).
He is also member of the Syndicat National des Antiquaires.
For the past few years he has been assisted by his daughter Julie Béalu.
Christian Béalu is the principal founder of the "Salon International de la Céramique de Collection et des Arts du Feu" which is held in Paris in Hôtel Amelot de Gournay - 217, Bd. Saint-Germain - 75007 PARIS, from 18th to 21th October 2007.
Each May he takes part in the "Salon International de la Céramique Ancienne" in Enghein in Belgium. He also exposes at the Biennale des Antiquaires, in Paris. |
