Circuit of Ceramic and Arts du Feu - PARIS from 11 to 17 september 2008 - European and Oriental ceramics, enamels and glassware, from antiquity to the present day

This year the members of the Association des Spécialistes de la Céramique de Collection have decided to create a new artistic and commercial event in Paris during the first half of September: The Parcours de la Céramique et des Arts du Feu. Although in 2007 the Salon International de la Céramique de Collection et des Arts du Feu opened at the Hôtel Amelot de Gournay on the same day as the Fiac, the Parcours de la Céramique will begin on the first day that the Biennale des Antiquaires opens to the public at the Grand Palais.

Located in the centre of Paris the Parcours de la Céramique et des Arts du Feu will bring together for the first time galleries and antique dealers of the Louvre des Antiquaires and the Carré Rive Gauche. This grouping will develop a synergy that will attract collectors from throughout the world, particularly as many foreign dealers who are members of the Association will be participating in the event and will be hosted by Paris galleries for a week or longer, whether these host galleries are specialists of the Arts du Feu or not.

The A.S.C.C. logo will enable collectors and art lovers to discover them in the alleys of the Louvre des Antiquaires and the streets of the Carré Rive Gauche.
The twenty participants will of course be presenting for sale new discoveries and objects especially reserved for the event.

The Louvre des Antiquaires will be holding an exhibition of contemporary examples of the arts du feu, and other non participating galleries will aim to present one or more "Arts du Feu" collectors pieces in their windows.

A shuttle is being considered to convey visitors from one point to another via the gallery of the Manufacture de Sèvres.
